There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting. ~Buddha
I’m not sure where to even start with this one:
Day 7 – Someone that has made your life worth living for.
How am I supposed to answer that? No one has made my life “worth living for.” Yes, if any of the people I love were to suddenly depart this earth, it would be horrible (too horrible to contemplate), but…would that make life no longer worth living?
No one has made my life worth living for. My life is worth living because I am alive to live it. Anything else would be a waste.
It’s hard to believe I ever felt differently, that I ever thought life wasn’t worth living. I guess that’s the difference between being 21, and believing you’ll never grow old and never die (and yet, being arrogant enough and willing to throw it away), and being 45, dreading growing old and praying you don’t die before you’re all done living.
